Job Description

The Executive - Indirect Tax is responsible for managing GST litigations and handling various related aspects, such as assisting in responses to Show Cause Notices, interacting with GST officials, and participating in audits. As a valued member of the Global Indirect Tax team, you will work collaboratively with other finance functions to ensure the organization's compliance and effectiveness in indirect tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

Actively manage litigation related to GST. Support in preparing and responding to Show Cause Notices and other communications from the GST department. Address technical queries raised by different internal business teams. Interact with GST department officials to ensure all queries are satisfactorily resolved. Collaborate closely with other finance functions to gather data necessary for responding to official notices. Stay updated on the latest changes in GST law and ensure timely adaptation of relevant changes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

3-5 years of experience in an indirect tax role, with active involvement in litigation as described above. Expert knowledge of GST law. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with proven ability to draft responses to Show Cause Notices, appeals, and related documents. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
