Job Description

1.

Recruitment & Onboarding



o Coordinate full-cycle recruitment: job postings, applicant screening, coordinating interviews, selection.

o Handle onboarding of new faculty, administrative staff, and student workers (orientation, documentation, system access, etc.).

o Work with department heads to understand staffing needs and timeline.

2.

Employee Relations & Performance Management



o Provide guidance / coaching to faculty, managers, and staff on policies, performance expectations, and conflict resolution.

o Support performance review processes (set timelines, collect feedback, ensure completion).

o Manage disciplinary processes as needed, in collaboration with senior HR leadership.

Policy & Compliance



o Ensure compliance with labor laws, university policies, and regulations (e.g., contract faculty, adjuncts, tenure track, grants).

o Update and enforce HR policies, employee handbooks, and procedures.

o Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure confidentiality.

o Support payroll process, liaise with finance/payroll department.

HR Data & Systems



o Maintain/Update HR Information System (HRMS) with accurate employee data.

o Generate reports and analytics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, diversity metrics).

o Support audits related to HR data.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
