Job Description

Role Summary:
The Executive - HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of HR policies and practices across all functions. The role involves hands-on work in recruitment, onboarding, performance management support, employee engagement, and HR administration. This position is ideal for an energetic and people-oriented HR professional looking to grow within a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment -- sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and onboarding.
  • Prepare and issue offer letters, appointment letters, and other employment documents.
  • Facilitate employee induction and ensure smooth integration of new hires.
2. HR Operations & Administration
  • Maintain employee records and update HR databases (HRMS - GreyTHR or similar).
  • Support payroll coordination by ensuring timely attendance, leave, and data management.
  • Assist in managing employee confirmations, transfers, and exits.
  • Ensure HR documentation and filing are accurate and up to date.
3. Performance Management & Training Support
  • Coordinate the implementation of the Performance Management System (PMS).
  • Collect, consolidate, and track performance appraisal data.
  • Support Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and assist in organizing learning and development programs.
4. Employee Engagement & Communication
  • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives, celebrations, and welfare programs.
  • Support internal communication efforts to promote an inclusive and collaborative workplace.
  • Help address employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.
5. HR Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.) under supervision.
  • Prepare HR reports and dashboards as required by management.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance documentation is maintained.
Key Skills & Competencies:
? Good communication skills in English and Kannada (both written and verbal).
? Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
? Basic understanding of HR processes, labour laws, and HR documentation.
? Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain confidentiality.
? Proficiency in MS Office and exposure to HRMS tools (GreyTHR preferred).
? Positive attitude with a learning mindset and commitment to organizational values.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA / PG Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of experience in HR Generalist or similar HR roles, preferably in a mid-sized organization.
  • Experience in the development / non-profit sector will be an added advantage.
