Job Summary:
The HR Generalist Executive will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department. This position involves a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management support, HRIS management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, dedicated to providing exceptional HR support to all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding:
Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, posting advertisements on various platforms (job boards, social media, etc.), screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
Conduct initial telephonic screenings and preliminary interviews.
Manage candidate communication and maintain recruitment trackers.
Prepare offer letters and complete pre-onboarding formalities.
Conduct new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
Complete joining formalities, including background verification initiation, document collection, and HRIS data entry.
2. Employee Relations & Support:
Act as a first point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and general HR matters.
Assist in resolving employee grievances and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
Promote a positive work environment and foster strong employee relations.
Organize and participate in employee engagement activities and initiatives.
3. HR Operations & Administration:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records (physical and digital) in the HR Information System (HRIS).
Manage attendance and leave management systems, ensuring accurate recording and compliance with company policies.
Generate various HR reports (e.g., headcount, attrition, leave data) as required.
Assist with payroll inputs and coordination with the finance team.
Manage the exit process for departing employees, including full & final settlement coordination, exit interviews, and document collection.
Prepare and issue various HR-related letters (e.g., experience letters, appraisal letters, warning letters).
4. Performance Management Support:
Assist in the administration of the performance management cycle, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback processes.
Help maintain performance appraisal records.
5. Compensation & Benefits (Supportive Role):
Provide support in gathering data for compensation benchmarking.
Assist with benefits administration and enrollment processes.
6. Compliance & Policy Adherence:
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations in India (e.g., EPF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments Act).
Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
7. Learning & Development (Supportive Role):
Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating training programs.
Maintain training records.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. An MBA/PGDM in HR is a significant advantage.
Experience: 2-5 years of progressive experience in an HR Generalist role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) - experience with [mention specific HRIS if applicable, e.g., Keka, Zoho People, SAP SuccessFactors] is a plus.
Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong Excel skills are highly desirable for data analysis and reporting.
Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in [Local Language, e.g., Marathi, Hindi] is a plus.
