Monitor daily attendance, shift schedules, late marks, OT hours, weekly offs, and leave records.
Coordinate with supervisors to track absentees and update daily manpower status.
Prepare monthly attendance sheets for payroll processing.
2. Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate hiring of workers, operators, technicians, and staff positions.
Conduct initial screening, interviews, and practical tests (where applicable).
Manage onboarding--document collection, ID generation, induction, and training coordination.
3. Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with labour laws (ESI, PF, Factories Act, Gratuity, Bonus).
Maintain statutory registers and coordinate with consultants/auditors.
Ensure timely submission of statutory reports and displays (muster roll, safety posters, etc.).
4. Employee Relations & Shopfloor Discipline
Address worker grievances related to attendance, leave, supervisor behaviour, etc.
Support in maintaining discipline, handling misconduct cases, issuing warning/notice letters.
Conduct regular rounds on the factory floor to assess employee issues and work environment.
5. Payroll Support
Share attendance data, OT hours, new joinee/exits, and deductions with accounts/payroll team.
Validate wage calculations for workers and contract labour.
6. Training & Development
Coordinate skill development programs, safety training, induction, and continuous improvement sessions.
Maintain training records.
7. HR Documentation & MIS
Maintain employee files, HR records, contracts, and documentation as per audits.
Generate HR MIS reports - headcount, attrition, hiring, absenteeism, and disciplinary cases.
8. Health, Safety & Welfare
Support safety officer in implementing workplace safety norms.
Coordinate welfare initiatives - canteen, uniforms, transport, health camps, etc.
