: Executive - Import Trade Finance

Education: M.Com / MBA (Finance or International Business preferred)
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to join our Finance team as an Import Trade Finance Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing import-related banking operations including issuance of LCs and BGs, handling document acceptances, arranging import financing, and ensuring timely payments and settlements. Proficiency in SAP ERP and MS Excel is essential.
Key ResponsibilitiesIssuance and amendment of Letters of Credit (LCs) and Bank Guarantees (BGs). Review and acceptance of documents lodged by suppliers under LCs. Discounting of import invoices through import financing arrangements. Arranging timely payment of import invoices on due dates. Settlement of iDPMS (Import Data Processing and Monitoring System) entries as per RBI guidelines. Posting accounting entries related to import transactions in SAP ERP. Preparation and maintenance of MIS reports related to import trade finance activities. Coordination with banks, suppliers, and internal departments for smooth execution of import transactions. Ensure compliance with FEMA, RBI, and other regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements3-5 years of relevant experience in Import Trade Finance, preferably in a manufacturing setup. Strong understanding of import documentation, LCs, BGs, and banking procedures. Working knowledge of SAP ERP is mandatory. Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.). Excellent communication and coordination skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
