Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team as

Shift Incharge - 220 KV Power Plant

. The role involves managing shift-wise operations and maintenance of the 220 KV power plant and Wartsila DG sets, ensuring continuous and efficient power supply to the plant.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee

shift-wise operation and maintenance

of the 220 KV power plant, ensuring uninterrupted power supply. Manage

operation and maintenance of Wartsila DG sets

for optimal performance and reliability. Handle all DG

auxiliary systems

: cooling, lube oil, fuel, and air systems. Perform

preventive and breakdown maintenance

of DGs and associated systems to reduce downtime. Supervise dismantling/assembling of Wartsila engine components: + Turbochargers
+ Bearings
+ Pistons
+ Connecting Rods (CR Rods)
+ Cylinder Heads
Coordinate with electrical teams for

grid synchronization and load management

. Monitor key operational parameters, maintain

shift logs, reports, and records

. Troubleshoot operational issues while ensuring

safety, SOP compliance, and statutory adherence

. Lead and guide shift technicians, ensuring

best O&M practices

. Maintain adequate

inventory of critical spares and consumables

for DG operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven hands-on experience in

Wartsila DG set operations and overhauling

. Knowledge of

220 KV switchyard operations

and electrical safety standards. Strong ability to

read and interpret technical manuals and system schematics

. Effective

leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

. Willingness to work in

rotating shifts

.
