We are seeking a skilled and energetic Chef to join our fast-paced team. The Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality food quickly and consistently while maintaining hygiene and safety standards. You will work closely with kitchen staff to deliver excellent customer satisfaction through tasty, fresh, and well-presented dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of fast food items (e.g., burgers, pizzas, fries, sandwiches, wraps, snacks).
Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of food.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety guidelines.
Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines.
Assist in inventory management and stock rotation (FIFO method).
Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely food delivery.
Maintain proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
Monitor food waste and suggest improvements to reduce it.
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Support training of junior kitchen staff when needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a fast food or QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) setting.
Knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and hygiene practices.
Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
Team player with good communication skills.
Time management and multitasking skills.
