- Executive (Finance & Operations)
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Executive (Finance & Operations) to join our finance team. In this role, the candidate will support the day-to-day finance and operational activities of the organization. This role involves assisting with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting, while also contributing to the improvement of financial processes and operational efficiency. The position offers valuable exposure to a broad range of finance and operations functions and provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
i. Financial Reporting and Analysis
Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and forecasts on a timely basis.
Ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
Analyze financial data and provide insights into cost control, budgeting, and financial performance.
ii. Operational Support & Reporting
Assist in day-to-day operational activities, ensuring project related processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
Support the implementation of operational procedures and improve workflow efficiency.
Coordinate between various departments to ensure effective operation.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the financial data to stakeholders, which can influence policy and decision-making processes.
iii. Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, client requirements and industry standards.
Help identify and assess financial and operational risks to be faced by the company or project, suggesting mitigation strategies.
iv. Data Management and Documentation
Maintain accurate financial and operational records in accordance with company and project policies.
Assist with document preparation and filing, ensuring everything is organized and easily accessible.
v. Collaboration and Communication
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth communication between finance, operations, and other departments.
Provide administrative support for finance-related tasks as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Graduate/postgraduate in commerce.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word techniques.
Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Tally etc.) is a plus.
Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and reporting.
Attention to detail and the ability to work with large sets of data.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
