About the Role:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven

Finance & Accounts professional

with strong experience in managing accounting operations within a

hospital or healthcare environment

. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and effective cost management.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Accounting & Financial Management



Handle day-to-day accounting operations including billing, receipts, payments, and journal entries. Prepare and maintain ledgers, trial balance, and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions in accounting software (Tally / ERP). Manage accounts payable and receivable processes. Perform monthly and year-end closing activities.

2. Budgeting & Cost Control



Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor departmental expenditures against approved budgets. Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.

3. Compliance & Audit



Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and professional tax. Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits. Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual returns.

4. Payroll & MIS Reporting



Oversee payroll processing in coordination with HR. Generate and present periodic MIS reports on revenue, expenses, and profitability. Track outstanding payments and follow up for timely collections.

5. Banking & Cash Management



Manage bank reconciliations and petty cash operations. Liaise with banks for fund transfers, deposits, and financial documentation. Maintain control over cash flows and working capital.

Desired Candidate Profile:



Education:

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter) / CMA preferred.

Experience:

3-10 years in Finance & Accounts, preferably in

Hospitals, Healthcare, or Diagnostics

industry.

Skills:

Proficiency in Tally ERP / Hospital ERP systems. Strong analytical and numerical aptitude. Good understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance. Excellent MS Excel and reporting skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):



Timely closing of books of accounts. Accuracy of financial statements and reports. Compliance with statutory deadlines (GST, TDS, etc.). Cost control and budget adherence. Audit completion without major observations.
