- Execution Engineer (Civil)

Position: Execution Engineer - Civil

Location: Mumbai (Project Site)

Project: Metro Rail - Civil Works for 66 kV and above GIS Substations

Engagement: Full-time, till completion of Design-Build Period

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

Graduate in Civil Engineering with

minimum 15 years

total work experience, OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with

minimum 20 years

total work experience.

Relevant Similar Experience:

Graduate -

minimum 5 years

in

execution of Civil & Structural works for 66 kV or above GIS substations / power projects / metro rail projects

. Diploma -

minimum 10 years

in

execution of Civil & Structural works for 66 kV or above GIS substations / power projects / metro rail projects

.

Deployment Requirement:

Must be posted

full-time in Mumbai

for this project only, till completion of the Design-Build period.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Supervision

Oversee

civil & structural construction activities

related to GIS substations (66 kV and above). Ensure

foundation, RCC, structural steel, cable trenches, control room buildings, and finishing works

are executed as per approved drawings. Coordinate

day-to-day site execution

with subcontractors, vendors, and site engineers. Monitor

site progress vs. project schedule

and ensure timely completion of activities.

2. Quality & Safety Compliance

Ensure civil works comply with

IS codes, technical specifications, and project quality standards

. Conduct

inspection and testing of concrete, steel, foundations, and finishing works

. Enforce

safety standards, permit-to-work system, and site safety guidelines

during execution.

3. Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with

design team, planning team, electrical execution engineers, and client representatives

. Attend

site progress review meetings

with client/consultant (Ircon/MMRDA). Prepare

daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports

. Highlight

delays, risks, and resource shortages

to Project Manager.

4. Resource & Material Management

Monitor availability of

construction materials, manpower, and equipment

. Raise

Material Indents, Inspection Requests (IRs), and Work Permits

. Track

consumption of cement, steel, aggregates, and finishing materials

. Ensure proper

storage, handling, and quality checks

for materials at site.

5. Drawing & Documentation

Verify

civil drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications

. Prepare and maintain

site execution records, quality checklists, and bar bending schedules

. Assist in

as-built drawings and handover documentation

.

Technical Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

civil construction of substations, buildings, and structural works

. Understanding of

metro rail project interfaces (Power Supply, OHE & E&M)

. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, MS Office, and construction management tools

. Ability to manage

multiple subcontractors and large workforce

. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Deliverables

Completed

civil & structural works of 66 kV and above GIS substations

as per contract timelines. Daily & weekly site progress reports. Quality assurance and safety compliance records. Final civil works documentation for client handover.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
