Position Name: Executive - Dispatch & Logistic Management
Location (City/Region): Pune / Sanand/ Ranjangaon
Brief Role Description: Yard Management & Dispatch (work in 3 shifts & no Travel)
Job Roles & Responsibilities - Level
Yard Ops Management

• Plan, manage Yard operations with internal stake holders, yard service providers and plant team
• Implement yard management best practices, principles, policies and processes to improve operational and financial performances
• Deliver best yard management solutions while maintaining high levels of quality and service within the budgetary requirements
• Monitor delivery performances from plant movement to dispatch
• Prepare yard operation budget and work for reduction in yard management cost
• Understand day to day operation and Plan optimum and adequate manpower for smooth operation.

Stock Receipt

• Checking of FG before in-warding as per SOP
• Co-ordination with PPC, production and Contractor for timely receipts of FG in In-gate & sending to location
• Ensure not ok vehicle going back to plant immediately after checking
• Daily Reconciliation of physical FG receipt & system transfer

Storage of Inventory

• Sending FG to location as per set SOP
• Ensure compliance to be maintained at every process
• Ensure yard stocking to optimize yard capacity and preventive measures to avoid damages.
• Ensure adherence of standard storage norms. Viz. battery Switch cut-off, Wiper blades positioning.
• Conduct weekly & monthly inventory audit with internal and external agency to maintain inventory accuracy at plant

Transport Management

• Coordinate with Transporters to mobilize fleet availability based on plan to meet daily requirements.
• Coordinate with Rake operators for placing of rakes as per schedule
• Ensure SOB execution as per set guidelines
• Monitoring SOB Plan vs Actual performance on weekly basis.
• Measure LSP-wise Performance in terms of On time & Defect Free Delivery as per Company policy
• Ensure dispatch data updation on TMLD Portal everyday (real-time) for visibility to dealers
• Exigency planning in case of shortages to meet the requirements by adapting alternate modes of transportation.
• Ensure carriers compliance with company policies or procedures for vehicle transit or delivery
• Review impact of logistics changes in the form of routing, transportation modes or carriers and inform all stake holders
• Support and guide LSPs and dealer for submission of all relevant documents for faster settlement ofinsurance claim

Physical Dispatch & Documentation

• Monitor daily dispatch performance in coordination with all internal and external agency
• Monitor TITO and suggest methods for continuous improvement
• Ensure vehicles are transported appropriately to ensure safe delivery and within company specified standard transit time at dealers/customers end
• Ensure dispatch of part load vehicles in same route through milk run
• Preparation & release of dispatch documents (including Invoices, EWB, CNG Certificates)

Essential & Desirable Education/Qualifications/ Work experience/technical skills i.e. what are the 'must haves' for this role:
1. Functional Knowledge of Skills (Must Have)

• Knowledge of S&OP process
• Order management
• Yard / Warehousing management
• Transport management

2. Educational Qualification

• MBA / Engg Graduate preferred
• Graduate
• Engg. Diploma

3. Technical Skill required:

• Sound MS office skills - Excel and Power Point
• Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including knowledge and understanding of ERP/SAP system.

4. Language Proficiency:

• English
• Hindi

5. Experience Required:

• 3 to 10 years
• Prior experience of working in Logistics/Distribution function in Automobile Company is preferred.
