Executive - Costing

Pondicherry (Hidesign Corporate Office)

Product & Process Costing

: Prepare cost sheets, calculate BOM/labour/overheads, and maintain costing data in ERP.

Cost Monitoring & Variance Analysis

: Track material, labour, and overhead variances and report cost deviations.

Inventory & Cost Control

: Monitor inventory valuation, verify production documents, and support stock reconciliations.

Data Validation & System Updates :

Ensure accurate ERP postings, validate rates, and update BOM/routing details.

Reporting & Compliance

: Prepare costing reports, support audits, and provide cost insights for pricing and budgeting.

Job Work Costing

: Prepare and review monthly job work expense statements

Key Skills Required

Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, BOM structures, and overhead allocation. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (BC365 preferred; SAP/Tally/Oracle acceptable). Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis). Understanding of production process flow, WIP management, and inventory controls. Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualification & Experience

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / ICWA (Inter or Final).

2-6 years of costing experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably leather, textile, engineering, FMCG, auto, or similar industries).
