To manage and coordinate the end-to-end claims and servicing process for both corporate and retail clients, ensuring seamless support, timely resolutions, and customer satisfaction. The role is crucial in maintaining client trust and upholding service standards for the broking firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Claims Management:
Assist clients in registering insurance claims (health, motor, property, marine, etc.) with the respective insurer.
Coordinate with insurance companies, surveyors, TPAs (Third Party Administrators), and internal teams to ensure timely processing of claims.
Track and follow up on claim status, ensuring closure within stipulated timelines.
Guide clients in documentation requirements and verify completeness and accuracy.
Resolve client queries regarding claim settlements, rejections, and delays.
Escalate complex or delayed claims to senior management for quicker resolution.
Client Servicing:
Serve as a single point of contact for clients for all post-sale servicing requirements.
Support policy issuance, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals in coordination with underwriting teams.
Ensure timely and error-free delivery of policy documents to clients.
Maintain and update client records, service logs, and claims registers.
Provide MIS reports related to claims and servicing activities to internal stakeholders and clients.
Conduct periodic service review meetings (in coordination with the relationship team) with key corporate clients.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all processes are aligned with IRDAI guidelines and internal SOPs.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all claims and servicing activities.
Assist in audits and regulatory inspections as required.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of general insurance products and claim processes
Customer-centric approach with excellent communication skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Proficiency in MS Excel and claims management systems
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Team player with a positive attitude
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate (Any stream); preference for candidates with an insurance certification (e.g., Licentiate from III)
1-3 years of experience in claims or servicing roles in an insurance company or broking firm
Familiarity with health, motor, and commercial line claims is preferred
Career Growth:
