The Executive Chef will oversee all kitchen activities, ensure consistent food quality, maintain cost control, and manage the entire kitchen team. The ideal candidate should be fluent in

Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead all kitchen operations and staff.
Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, presentation, and hygiene.
Ensure all dishes are prepared according to standard recipes and portion control.
Monitor and manage food costs, wastage, and inventory.
Plan and update menus, introducing new dishes based on market trends and guest preferences.
Ensure proper training, grooming, and discipline of all kitchen staff.
Conduct on-the-job training and ensure adherence to SOPs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
Ensure
FIFO (First In, First Out)
method is followed for all food items.
Coordinate with the purchase department for vendor requirements and product specifications.
Oversee menu planning and execution for special events and VIP functions.
Manage staff scheduling, recruitment, and performance appraisals.
Work closely with management to meet budget goals and ensure profitability.
Requirements:
6-10 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 2 years in an Executive or Head Chef role.
Proven expertise in menu planning, kitchen operations, and team management.
Fluency in
English or Tamil
is mandatory.
Graduate or diploma in hotel/culinary management preferred.
Strong leadership, organization, and time management skills.
In-depth knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and cost control practices.
