Job Description


Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Chef located in Tirur. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of Mughlai cuisine dishes at Lazeez Mughlai Restaurant. This includes managing menu development, inventory, food costing, plating, and presentation while maintaining high standards of quality. The Executive Chef will also oversee the kitchen team, ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, and provide excellent customer service to guests. Qualifications Must have at least 5 years of experience as a Chef, with at least 2 years as an Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant serving Mughlai cuisine Excellent knowledge of Mughlai cuisine and cooking techniques, including marinating, grilling and smoking meats, and preparing rich sauces and gravies Demonstrated expertise in managing kitchen operations, including budgeting, inventory management, and food costing Experience developing and managing menus, and creating new and innovative dishes while staying true to traditional Mughlai flavors Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate kitchen staff to consistently execute dishes to high standards Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred but not required
