We are looking Executive Chef for commercial bakery and Pastry in Mumbai. :- Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the culinary division, including menu planning, food preparation, kitchen operations, and staff management. The Executive Chef will also collaborate with other departments to develop new menu items and maintain food costs within budget. Responsibilities: - Develop and update menus to reflect seasonal and local ingredients while taking into consideration guest preferences and dietary restrictions. - Supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling. - Create and implement standard recipes, portion control, and quality standards. - Collaborate with the restaurant manager to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests. - Oversee food purchasing and inventory management to ensure cost efficiency and minimize waste. - Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, following all health and safety regulations. - Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques and ingredients into menu development. - Manage food cost and keep budget constraints in mind when creating menus and dishes. Qualifications: - Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end or luxury hotel setting. - Must 12 to 15 years experience in bakery and pastry department. - Comprehensive knowledge of various cuisines and culinary techniques. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. - Exceptional creativity and innovation in menu planning and food presentation. - Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. - Degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred, but relevant work experience will also be considered.
