The Executive Chef will be responsible for maintaining food quality, managing the kitchen team, controlling costs, and creating a menu that delights guests. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in multi-cuisine kitchens.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage all kitchen operations and staff.
Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, presentation, and hygiene.
Plan menus, introduce new dishes, and oversee recipe standardization.
Maintain food cost control, reduce wastage, and follow FIFO methods.
Coordinate with the purchase department for supplies and vendor management.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all kitchen sections.
Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain company standards.
Plan and execute special events, buffets, and VIP menus.
Handle staffing, duty rosters, and performance evaluations.
Work closely with management to meet business and profitability goals.
Requirements:
3-5 years of kitchen experience with at least 2 years as a Head/Executive Chef.
Strong culinary skills and understanding of Indian and Continental cuisines.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Diploma or degree in Hotel or Culinary Management preferred.
Must be disciplined, organized, and quality-focused.
