Position Overview



The Executive Chef will lead the culinary vision of a high-profile, celebrity-owned global cuisine restaurant in Goa. This role demands exceptional creativity, strong leadership, and an in-depth understanding of international flavors and techniques. The Executive Chef will be responsible for curating a distinctive global dining experience that reflects the brand's personality, ensuring the highest standards of quality, innovation, and guest satisfaction.

Key ResponsibilitiesCulinary Innovation & Menu Leadership



Develop signature menus rooted in diverse global cuisines (e.g., Mediterranean, Asian, Latin American, Middle Eastern, European fusion). Craft dishes that align with the celebrity brand's identity, focusing on presentation, authenticity, and innovation. Conduct regular food tastings, menu revisions, and seasonal upgrades. Stay ahead of global culinary trends and incorporate them into the restaurant's offerings.

Kitchen Operations & Excellence



Direct and supervise all kitchen operations, including prep, production, service, and plating. Maintain world-class food quality, consistency, and hygiene standards. Implement and enforce SOPs, HACCP guidelines, and sanitation protocols. Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service teams for seamless guest experiences.

Team Leadership & Development



Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing culinary team. Foster a culture of creativity, discipline, and excellence. Lead by example through hands-on involvement during peak service.

Brand Alignment & Guest Experience



Collaborate with the celebrity's brand/creative team to ensure the culinary experience reflects the outlet's identity. Interact with VIP guests, influencers, and media when required. Participate in special events, collaborations, and brand activations to enhance visibility.

Financial & Operational Management



Manage food cost, labor cost, inventory, and wastage. Work with procurement to source premium local and international ingredients. Support budgeting, forecasting, and P&L targets. Introduce efficient production processes without compromising quality.

Qualifications & Experience



Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts from a reputed institution. 8-12+ years of culinary experience, including leadership roles in luxury restaurants or 5-star hotels. Strong expertise in global cuisine and modern culinary techniques. Experience in high-profile, fine-dining, or celebrity-driven outlets preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and crisis-management skills. Ability to thrive in a high-energy, design-driven, and media-visible environment.
