Job Purpose



To identify, engage, and onboard corporate and retail clients by promoting insurance products and solutions. The role focuses on expanding the firm's customer base, driving revenue growth, and maintaining long-term client relationships through consultative selling and excellent service coordination.

Key Responsibilities

:1.

New Business Acquisition



Identify and target prospective clients in corporate, SME, and retail segments. Pitch insurance products (General, Life, Health, Motor, Property, Marine, etc.) tailored to client requirements. Build a robust lead pipeline using cold calling, networking, references, and digital platforms. Conduct client meetings and present company credentials, product comparisons, and proposals.
2.

Client Relationship Management



Act as a point of contact for clients and ensure high service standards. Coordinate with internal teams for quotes, policy issuance, claims, and endorsements. Maintain client records and track renewal cycles to ensure timely follow-ups and retention.
3.

Sales Support and Reporting



Prepare and submit regular sales MIS, funnel reports, and forecasts. Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets as per the business plan. Assist in preparing RFPs/RFQs and support documentation for large accounts.
4.

Market Intelligence



Stay informed about competitors, market trends, and regulatory changes. Share insights with the management to refine offerings and positioning.

Key Skills & Competencies



Strong communication and presentation skills Sales-oriented mindset with a result-driven approach Knowledge of insurance products and IRDAI regulations (preferred) Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively

Qualifications & Experience



Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (preferably in Insurance/Finance/Marketing) 1-3 years of experience in insurance sales or broking preferred IRDAI License (preferred or must be obtained post-joining)

Work Environment



Field visits and client meetings are integral Hybrid or office-based work depending on firm policy Regular interaction with insurers, underwriting teams, and internal operations
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?220,401.51 - ?500,000.00 per year
