Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of all biomedical equipment as per the schedule. Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for equipment servicing, calibration, and breakdown support. Maintain inventory and service history records for all medical equipment. Ensure all medical equipment complies with hospital safety and quality standards. Support clinical departments in the optimal and safe use of medical equipment. Assist in equipment installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines. Participate in equipment audits and ensure timely calibration and certification. Provide user training and troubleshooting support to hospital staff. Raise and track service calls for breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime. Prepare and maintain documentation for biomedical assets, AMC/CMC records, and warranty tracking. Liaise with procurement for spare parts and new equipment requirements.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong technical understanding of biomedical and clinical equipment (e.g., ventilators, monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps, OT tables, sterilizers, etc.). Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Familiar with NABH and medical equipment compliance standards. Proficient in MS Office and documentation. Effective communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification:

B.E. / B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent discipline.

Preferred Experience:

2-3 years of hands-on experience in a hospital setup or biomedical service company. Experience handling multi-brand medical equipment and vendor coordination.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
