JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical lead for design and qualification of electrical components and subsystems, and system integration for new elevator designs and technology development.
Basic Accountabilities: Candidate with good knowledge from electrical deisgn background ( Elevator or Non elevator industry) with below experience is preferred.

• Design and integration of electrical subsystems, understanding control system requirements, motor & VF drive interfaces, electrical codes & application software fundamentals.
• Selection and sizing of key electrical components for the electrical sub-system designs, such as: relays, circuit breakers, switches, transformers, protection systems for both control and power circuits.
• Preparation of Bill of material for electrical components

- Manage the interface between various components through electrification and signaling. Good understanding of cabling & wire harnesses.

• Experience in Autocad / E3 for preparation of electrical schematic.
• Developing concepts of electrical sub-system, review and create electrical component & sub-system design requirements.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and innovative ideas in electrical subsystems with alternative design solutions to reduce the product cost.
• Develop qualification plan for the electrical components and sub-system. Support electrical system calculation and analysis for cable sizing, power converters sizing, Machine sizing, heat release calculations, power supply designs.
• Participate in the design review’s of the electrical sub-system. Understanding and performing failure and risk analysis using tools like FTA, FMEA, RAMP, RRCA, DoE, etc
• Verifying electrical component level qualification in a system.
• Implementing Root Cause Analysis to analyze test result of electrical sub-system and components and Field turnbacks.
• Developing and improving design process of electrical components & sub-system. Supporting the elevator certification.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
B.E in Electrical & Electronics with a minimum of 4-5 years experience or MTech with 3 years Experience espcically from Deisgn & Development background.
