Position Summary
The Executive in Seed Testing Laboratory will be responsible for supporting day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring timely and accurate seed testing, documentation, and compliance with standard protocols.
Key Responsibilities
? Conduct seed testing activities including germination, purity, moisture, and vigour tests as per prescribed standards.
? Ensure proper handling, labelling, and storage of seed samples.
? Maintain accurate records, test reports, and laboratory documentation.
? Assist in preparing and validating test results for internal and external stakeholders.
? Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.
? Coordinate with production, QC, and field teams as required.
Skills & Competencies
? Knowledge of seed testing procedures and laboratory practices
? Basic understanding of agricultural quality standards
? Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
? Good documentation and reporting skills
? Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines
Desired Candidate Profile
Education Qualification
Bachelor of Science - Agriculture
Work Experience o Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred o Fresher's with strong academic background may also be considered
