EA to MD & Liaisoning Officer.
This is a dual-role position that combines high-level executive administrative responsibilities with legal liaison and compliance coordination. The ideal candidate will provide strategic support to the MD, manage internal and external communications, and ensure the organization's adherence to government regulations, licensing, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the MD's calendar, appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries.
Organize and prepare documents, reports, and presentations for meetings.
Coordinate internal and external meetings, draft agendas, and record minutes.
Handle confidential information with utmost discretion and integrity.
Liaise with senior executives, internal departments, and external stakeholders on behalf of the MD.
Act as the MD's representative when required in meetings, communications, or follow-ups.
Liaise regularly with government authorities and regulatory bodies such as Registrar of Companies (RoC), Labour Department Environmental & Pollution Control Boards, Municipal Corporations and other statutory departments
Manage and ensure timely renewal of company licenses, NOCs, permits, and regulatory filings.
Prepare and submit documentation for approvals, renewals, and legal compliance.
Support inspections, audits, and reviews from statutory bodies and legal authorities.
Maintain comprehensive records and documentation for all legal and government interactions.
Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws: Labour Laws, Environmental Laws, Industry-specific Acts, etc.
Skills Required:
Understanding of government processes, documentation, and follow-up
Strong grasp of statutory compliance laws and timelines.
Confident interaction with internal leaders and external authorities.
Accuracy in drafting, submitting, and tracking legal documents.
Ability to juggle multiple roles and deadlines.
Trusted to handle sensitive business and legal information.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Law, Public Administration, or related field
.
3-9 years of experience in
executive support and legal/government liaisoning
.
Strong working knowledge of
legal, statutory, and regulatory frameworks
.
Proven experience interacting with
government officials and legal departments
.
Proficiency in
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
and documentation tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Work Conditions:
Office-based
role with
regular field visits
to government departments, industrial units, and statutory bodies.
May require
travel within the state or country
for compliance coordination, meetings, or documentation purposes.
Working hours may occasionally extend based on executive or regulatory priorities.
