We require an Executive Assistant who would be reporting to the Director. Mahabir Danwar Jewellers specializes in both
wholesale and retail
of fine jewellery--featuring
Gold, Kundan, Jadau, Polki, and Diamond
collections. All pieces come with internationally recognized certifications, ensuring purity and authenticity. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and a deep understanding of the luxury retail environment. The role involves managing schedules, coordinating business operations, supporting client and supplier communication, and ensuring smooth administrative functioning at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the Director's calendar, including appointments, client meetings, trade shows, and travel arrangements (local and international).
Act as a liaison between the Director and internal teams, suppliers, clients, and partners.
Handle all forms of communication on behalf of the Director--screen calls, draft emails, and manage correspondence with high levels of professionalism.
Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting documents related to sales performance, product development, inventory, and marketing campaigns.
Assist in planning and coordination of events, exhibitions, launches, and private client appointments.
Maintain and update confidential customer and supplier records.
Track and manage project timelines and deliverables across design, production, and retail teams.
Monitor industry trends and prepare briefings on competitors, new collections, or market opportunities.
Ensure discretion and confidentiality in all business dealings, especially with high-net-worth clients and proprietary designs.
Support inventory checks, product tracking, and sample management when needed.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years' experience in an executive assistant or senior administrative role, preferably within the luxury, fashion, or jewellery industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished and professional demeanor.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and cloud-based tools (Google Workspace, Dropbox, etc.).
Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage confidential information with integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Management, Luxury Brand Management, or a related field.
Familiarity with jewellery production workflows, gemstone terminology, or design processes.
