Job Summary:
The Executive for Ad Sales/Space Marketing will support the Ad Sales Manager in driving advertising revenue for the print media division. This role involves selling advertising space in print publications (newspaper), building and maintaining client relationships, developing sales strategies, and meeting revenue targets. The Executive will collaborate with the sales team, marketing department, and clients to ensure successful ad campaigns while contributing to the overall growth of the publication's advertising portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Revenue Generation:
o Sell advertising space in print publications to businesses, agencies, and individual clients.
o Identify and pursue new sales leads to expand the client base.
o Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets set by the sales department.
o Prepare and present sales proposals, rate cards, and media kits to prospective clients.
2. Client Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with advertisers and media agencies.
o Understand client needs and recommend tailored advertising solutions to meet their marketing goals.
o Handle client inquiries, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of ad placements.
3. Market Research & Strategy:
o Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities in the print media advertising space.
o Assist in developing creative sales strategies to attract new advertisers and retain existing ones.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional campaigns or special ad packages.
4. Team Support & Coordination:
o Assist the Ad Sales Manager in training and mentoring junior sales staff.
o Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure ad specifications and deadlines are met.
o Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, pipeline, and client feedback.
5. Administrative Duties:
o Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, client contracts, and payment schedules.
o Monitor ad placements to ensure compliance with client agreements and publication standards.
o Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for management review.
Working Conditions:
Office-based with occasional travel for client meetings or industry events.

Qualifications:

Experience:
