Position Summary:
The Accounts Executive will manage various financial tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance. This role involves working closely with the finance team to support the company's financial health and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure timely submission of financial reports to management.
Manage accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation.
Handle accounts receivable tasks, such as invoicing clients, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and implement necessary changes.
Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings.
Ensure timely payment of taxes and compliance with all tax regulations.
Assist in the preparation of income tax returns.
Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
Monitor cash flow and manage cash disbursements.
Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
Prepare and analyze budgets and forecasts.
Provide support for day-to-day administrative tasks in the finance department.
Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification-Inter CA is also considered.
Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Office, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in payroll management.
Familiarity with ERP systems.
