Overview: Responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and tax preparation
Scope of Work:
1. Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors
2. Manage accounts receivable, including sending invoices, collecting payments, and following up on outstanding balances
3. Managing month-end closing process, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements
4. Analyze financial data and generate reports to support management decision-making
5. Prepare tax provisions and work on periodic tax filing process in accordance with Indian tax regulations (e.g., Income Tax Act, GST, TDS)
6. Maintain a strong understanding of Indian accounting principles (Ind AS) and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
7. Participate in internal control procedures to safeguard financial assets
8. Assisting with payroll/administrative duties, in coordination with HR Manager
9. Troubleshooting & suggestive actions, in coordination with Head - Accounting
Experience: Minimum 3 years
