Job Summary and Key Accountabilities
As an Execution Senior Analyst, Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's data-driven decision-making culture by being responsible for the development of sophisticated reporting solutions and analytics strategies using Microsoft Power BI and the broader Power Platform. This role goes beyond developing dashboards, you will partner with senior business leaders to define key metrics, architect scalable reporting solutions, and drive data governance and quality initiatives. With a deep understanding of data modeling, visualization guidelines, and crosmulti-functionallaboration, you will guide junior analysts, influence reporting standards, and ensure delivery of insights that directly impact strategic and operational outcomes.
Power BI and Analytics Solution Leadership
Lead the design, architecture, and governance of enterprise Power BI reporting solutions.
Oversee the development and maintenance of large-scale, sophisticated dashboards and data models (50M+ records).
Apply sophisticated DAX and Power Query to develop reusable data models and templates.
Optimize data models for performance and scalability, including use of incremental refresh, aggregations, and composite models.
Lead development and integration efforts involving Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate).
Ensure alignment to data security, including implementation of Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS).
Drive adoption and deployment of Power BI Apps across business units. Demonstrates enterprise thinking and supplies to function-wide strategy.
Coaches and mentors team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Data Strategy, Governance & Management
Lead efforts to establish data governance and quality frameworks in alignment with enterprise standards.
Lead the end-to-end ETL process and architecture design for procurement and business datasets.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure data integrity, standardization, and compliance.
Manage data integration projects across diverse systems (SAP, SharePoint, SQL, OData).
Sophisticated Power BI development (Dataflows, Paginated Reports, Power BI Service Admin).
Deep knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL
Good experience in enterprise data architecture, ETL, and reporting infrastructure.
Demonstrable experience with data modeling tools and techniques (Star Schema, Snowflake).
Power Platform integration experience (e.g., Power Automate workflows).
Procurement Domain Analytics
Lead reporting and analysis initiatives within the Procurement and Accounts Payable domain.
Develop dashboards and KPIs for Spend Analysis, PO Compliance, Invoice Aging, Payment Cycle Times, and Vendor Performance.
Collaborate with Procurement, AP, and Finance teams to define reporting requirements and improve access to operational performance.
Analyze trends in supplier data, invoice discrepancies, and payment processing to identify cost-saving or efficiency opportunities.
Support audit and compliance reporting related to procurement and payables data.
Provide insights to support vendor negotiations, contract performance tracking, and procure-to-pay (P2P) process optimization.
Business Collaborator Engagement
Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders to define KPIs, dashboards, and insights that drive performance.
Translating business needs into technical requirements and vice versa, acting as a link between business and data teams.
Present complex data in clear, concise narratives tailored to executive audiences.
Lead quarterly business reviews on data insights and reporting effectiveness.
Mentor and guide reporting analysts in data visualization, Power BI, and analytical techniques.
Lead multi-functional reporting initiatives and handle matrixed project teams where needed.
Champion data literacy initiatives across the function.
Promote guidelines and standards for reporting design, documentation, and QA.
Strategic thinker with strong discernment in Procurement, Finance, or Operations domains.
Ability to influence and inspire changes across diverse collaborator groups.
Effective interpersonal skills - verbal, written, and presentation - at both operational and executive levels.
Good project management and prioritization skills in a matrixed/global environment.
Qualifications, Competencies
Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics and Power BI reporting roles.
Sophisticated skills in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and Power Platform integration.
Strong SQL proficiency and experience with data warehouses and multi-source data environments. Sophisticated Excel skills for data analysis and visualization.
Consistent record leading multi-functional reporting initiatives in large/global organizations
Excellent collaborator management and social skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working in cross-cultural, global teams.
Preferred certifications: Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform, Tableau.
