& Summary A career in our State and Local Indirect Tax practice, within State and Local Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients solve their business issues related to business restructuring, adoption of new tax laws, and communicating local tax developments. You\xe2\x80\x99ll help with assessing our client\xe2\x80\x99s state and local tax burden and recommend solutions that support their overall business objectives to ensure that their filling positions are consistent with good business practices and with the states applicable tax laws and rules.

Our team helps our clients manage their indirect tax responsibilities related to value added taxes, sales and use taxes, goods and services taxes, federal excise taxes, and other transaction taxes. You\xe2\x80\x99ll help with identifying and exploring indirect tax opportunities and issues related to business expansion, systems and controls, refunds and cash flow, and policy and design.

Technical
1. Atleast 1.5 - 2 years of relevant experience in Excise Tax process
1. Good knowledge on Excise Tax end to end process.
2. Good knowledge on related tax software. also utilize automation tools
5. Technical understanding of current tax practice and performing on tax return filings
6. Understanding and analysing client information during the returns filing
7. Researching the technical concepts and come up with the solutions
8. Ability to work on multiple clients during the same period
9. Ability to help new professionals on the process and basic tax technical concepts
10. Ability to work on the new clients onboarding process
11. Ability to provide automation and process efficiency ideas
12. Identifying the issues and asking questions
13. Keep up to knowledge on technical and technology developments
14. Participate in the US Engagement Team calls
