Role Purpose
To ensure
consistent, high-quality fleet availability and professional driver standards
by enforcing preventive maintenance, documentation discipline, and driver grooming--so every trip meets corporate and safety expectations without compromise.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Maintenance & Quality
Ensure 100% adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.
Conduct regular and surprise vehicle quality audits.
Prevent deployment of unsafe or substandard vehicles.
Track breakdowns, downtime, and repeat defects; drive corrective action.
Documentation & Records
Maintain up-to-date records for service, insurance, permits, PUC, and fitness.
Ensure audit-ready documentation at all times.
Prepare periodic MIS reports for management review.
Driver Grooming & Conduct
Enforce standards for uniform, hygiene, and professional behaviour.
Conduct driver quality checks and recommend retraining or disciplinary action.
Coordinate driver training on safety, etiquette, and vehicle care.
Quality Audits & Compliance
Implement quality checklists for vehicles and drivers.
Ensure compliance with client SLAs and statutory norms.
Investigate quality failures and close corrective actions.
Customer Experience
Monitor feedback related to vehicle condition and driver behaviour.
Identify trends and initiate service quality improvements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Preventive maintenance compliance
Fleet uptime and breakdown reduction
Driver grooming compliance score
Audit scores and closure timelines
Quality-related customer complaints
Qualification & Experience
Graduate / Diploma (Automobile or relevant field preferred).
8-12 years experience in fleet operations, quality control, or transport services.
Key Skills
Strong attention to detail and process discipline
Hands-on knowledge of vehicle maintenance
Ability to enforce standards firmly
Good coordination and reporting skills
Authority
Can stop vehicle deployment on quality or safety grounds.
Can recommend driver retraining or disciplinary action.
Can escalate quality risks to senior management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?400,000.00 - ?800,000.00 per year
