Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EVS teacher to educate and inspire students in understanding the environment, sustainability, natural resources, and their interrelationships. The teacher will deliver engaging lessons that integrate science, geography, civics, and environmental awareness tailored to the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver EVS lessons in alignment with the school curriculum (Cambridge).

Use interactive teaching methods such as storytelling, experiments, and field observations to make learning meaningful.

Encourage students to explore nature and environmental issues through projects and activities.

Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Use visual aids, multimedia, and real-life examples to make concepts relatable.

Organize field trips, nature walks, and awareness drives to enhance experiential learning.

Assess student learning through worksheets, class tests, activities, and projects.

Prepare and submit lesson plans, student reports, and academic progress updates.

Collaborate with other subject teachers for interdisciplinary learning.

Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and training programs.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science / Education / Life Sciences or equivalent.

B.Ed. or teaching certification preferred.

Prior teaching experience in primary school is an advantage.

Good communication and classroom management skills.

Creative, enthusiastic, and child-friendly approach to teaching.

Knowledge of environmental issues, sustainability, and child-centric pedagogy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
