Position Overview
The
Corporate Event Sales Manager
will be responsible for driving sales growth in the corporate events segment, building long-term client relationships, and ensuring successful event conversions. This role requires a dynamic professional with a strong understanding of event sales, client servicing, and business development in the corporate sector.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Identify, prospect, and acquire new corporate clients for conferences, product launches, exhibitions, offsites, and corporate celebrations.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (corporates, agencies, associations, institutions).
Understand client requirements and propose tailored event solutions.
Provide excellent pre-sales and post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
Event Collaboration
Work closely with the operations and creative teams to design proposals, pitch decks, and event concepts.
Collaborate with vendors, venues, and internal departments to deliver customized solutions.
Market Research & Strategy
Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to position Celebrations Group as a leader in corporate events.
Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking forums.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate/MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Event Management preferred.
4-7 years of proven experience in corporate event sales, MICE, or hospitality sales.
Strong corporate network and ability to connect with CXOs, HR heads, and marketing leaders.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of event operations, budgets, and production processes is an added advantage.
