Role Overview
We are looking for a
Corporate Sales Manager
who can drive business growth through corporate event sales, client relationship building, and operational involvement. The ideal candidate will have a solid sales and marketing background, preferably in the hospitality or events industry, and be ready to support on-ground event operations when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target, and acquire new corporate clients (MNCs, SMEs, agencies) for event services (meetings, conferences, seminars, team offsites, etc.).
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business.
Prepare and present compelling event proposals, presentations, and quotations.
Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth event execution -- from planning to on-site delivery.
Collaborate with marketing to design and implement sales campaigns, promotional materials, and lead generation strategies.
Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry networking events to generate leads and close deals.
Forecast sales, build sales plans, meet revenue targets, and report on sales performance.
Negotiate contracts, manage pricing, and close deals while ensuring profitability.
Coordinate with vendors, production, design, and logistics teams to ensure all event requirements are met.
Provide post-event feedback analysis, client debriefing, and upsell/cross-sell potential for future events.
(Optional but preferred) Manage digital and social media outreach to support event sales, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and corporate marketing.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
2-5 years of proven experience in sales & marketing, preferably in hospitality, event management, or a related field.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong client relationship-building abilities and networking skills.
Ability to understand client needs and translate them into operational plans.
Experience in event operations or willingness to be hands-on during event execution.
Good organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to multitask.
Proactive, goal-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to travel locally or pan-India when required.
Preferred:
Experience of event sales with knowledge of digital marketing and social media
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related discipline.
