Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget for their wedding celebration. Develop comprehensive wedding plans, timelines, and checklists to keep every detail on track. Negotiate with vendors including caterers, florists, photographers, entertainment providers, and venue staff to secure quality services at optimal prices. Coordinate event logistics such as venue setup, catering arrangements, decor design, guest accommodations, and transportation. Manage contracts with vendors and venues, ensuring all terms are clear and adhered to throughout the planning process. Oversee on-site event management on the wedding day to ensure smooth execution of all planned activities. Upsell additional services such as premium decor packages or special enhancements to enhance client satisfaction and event success. Conduct marketing efforts by showcasing previous weddings through social media or promotional events to attract new clients. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing attendee needs promptly and professionally during the event. Maintain detailed records of budgets, vendor contacts, contracts, and client preferences for seamless planning continuity.

Requirements

Proven experience in event planning or hospitality sectors such as restaurants, hotels, banquet halls, or catering services. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable vendor agreements while maintaining quality standards. Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently under tight deadlines. Knowledge of event marketing strategies and upselling techniques to grow client base and revenue streams. Familiarity with budgeting processes and contract management for large-scale events. Experience in banquet operations or catering services is highly desirable. Ability to handle guest services with professionalism and warmth during high-pressure moments at events.
