The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events from concept to completion. The role includes coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth execution of events while meeting budget, timeline, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute events such as seminars, workshops, school events, promotional activities, exhibitions, and corporate events
Develop event concepts, themes, timelines, and budgets
Coordinate with vendors, decorators, caterers, technical teams, and other service providers
Manage venue selection, booking, and logistics arrangements
Oversee event setup, operations, and on-ground execution
Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and as per expectations
Handle permissions, approvals, and compliance requirements (if applicable)
Manage event promotions and coordination with the marketing team
Supervise event staff, volunteers, and support teams
Handle client communication before, during, and after events
Prepare post-event reports including feedback, expenses, and outcomes
Resolve issues and troubleshoot on-ground challenges during events
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field (preferred)
2-5 years of experience in event planning or management
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
Budgeting and vendor management skills
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Proficiency in MS Office and event management tools
