Position :- Event Manager - Marketing
Job Location :- Sanand - Ahmedabad
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Event Leadership & Planning:
Develop and execute the annual event strategy and calendar in close collaboration with Sales, Med Ed and Product Marketing team.
Act as the primary events stakeholder, consulting with cross-functional teams to define event goals, KPIs, and success metrics for each initiative.
Lead the event budgeting process, including forecasting, cost tracking, and ROI analysis for all events.
2. Team Management & Development:
Directly manage, mentor, and develop a team of Event Coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring workload balance and providing clear direction and support.
Establish and refine event processes, checklists, and best practices for the team.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
With Medical Education: Partner closely with the Med Ed team to plan and execute high-quality, compliant educational programs, advisory boards, and workshops. Ensure all logistical elements support the scientific and educational goals.
With Product Marketing: Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure event presence (booths, demos, signage) effectively communicates product value propositions and generates qualified leads.
With Sales: Understand the local requirements to effectively position Biotek brand and products.
Serve as the central point of communication, ensuring alignment between all internal stakeholders, external vendors, and agency partners.
4. End-to-End Event Execution:
For Standalone Biotek Events: Lead the planning and execution of company-hosted events, including venue selection, itinerary management, speaker coordination, faculty management, catering, AV, and on-site management.
For Third-Party Conferences: Manage our presence at industry conferences, including booth strategy and design, sponsorship fulfilment, logistics, staff briefing, lead capture management and faculty management.
Oversee all logistical elements: contract negotiation, registration, housing and travel for staff, shipping, on-site staffing plans, and post-event reconciliation.
5. Excellence in Execution & Measurement:
Implement a standard of excellence for all event deliverables, ensuring brand consistency and a superior attendee experience.
Conduct post-event debriefs with the team and stakeholders to capture insights, measure performance against KPIs, and identify opportunities for enhancement.
Analyse event data to report on lead generation, engagement, and overall ROI.
