Role Overview
The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and product demonstration of Electric Vehicle (EV) workbenches and training equipment at ISIE Centers across India. The role requires extensive travel and hands-on expertise in EV systems.
Key Responsibilities
Install and commission EV workbenches, charging stations, and training equipment at ISIE Centers across PAN India.
Conduct technical demonstrations and presentations for faculty, students, and partners.
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of equipment installed at various sites.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after installation.
Prepare service reports, installation documentation, and customer feedback records.
Train end-users on equipment operation, safety protocols, and best practices.
Coordinate with the R&D team to suggest improvements based on field performance and user feedback.
Ensure all installations follow safety compliance and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Automobile Engineering or related technical fields.
1-2 years of experience in the Electric Vehicle industry, preferably in field service, testing, commissioning, or product installation.
Technical Skills
Understanding of EV systems, components, and power electronics.
Hands-on experience with battery packs, motors, controllers, BMS, and EV charging systems.
Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly and electrical wiring.
Good understanding of safety standards in EV applications.
Work Environment
This role requires PAN India travel ~60-70% of the time.
On-site installation, workshop environments, and hands-on work with equipment.
