About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work on the simulation of the power train for motor & battery performance
2. Test the EV power train on the EV dyno on the motor dyno test bed
3. Develop competitive system architecture concepts for power train management, battery management systems, and overall system integration for electric vehicles, especially two-wheeler
4. Take responses from requirement engineering, implementation, validation/testing, and release of system engineering concepts and applications
6. Design the power electronics product requirements, create technical specifications, and architecture design complying with requirements
7. Design and validate converter which includes a selection of topology, MOSFET, capacitors, PWM IC, driver circuit, BJT, IGBT, etc. & their switching circuits, snubbed circuits, gate driving circuits, and protection circuits
Requirements:
1. Completed or pursuing a bachelor in engineering
2. Familiarity with different vehicle systems such as motor, motor controller, BMS, HMI, wiring harness, communication protocols, etc. operations is an added advantage
3. Knowledge to carry out simulations in MATLAB or Python is mandatory
4. Exposure to Sumo or PTV simulation tools is an advantage
5. Good knowledge of power electronics concepts and their impact on system design
6. Exposure to vehicle dynamics
7. Exposure to battery technology such as TPF, NMC, etc. is an added advantage
