The EV Sales Consultant will be responsible for promoting and selling electric vehicles (EVs) to customers by understanding their mobility needs, explaining EV features/benefits, and providing a superior customer experience. The role requires strong product knowledge, excellent communication, and a passion for sustainable mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with customers visiting the dealership and understand their vehicle requirements.
Explain the benefits, features, technology, and cost-effectiveness of EVs (charging infrastructure, running cost, government incentives, etc.).
Conduct test drives and product demonstrations.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the dealership/OEM.
Assist customers with finance, insurance, exchange, and EV subsidy schemes.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to drive repeat sales and referrals.
Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and new EV technologies.
Coordinate with the marketing team for leads and promotional campaigns.
Ensure smooth documentation and timely vehicle delivery.
Provide after-sales support related to EV charging, service, and accessories.
Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline (BBA/BA/B.Com/Engineering preferred).
1-3 years of experience in automobile sales (EV/Automobile industry preferred).
Strong knowledge of EV technology, charging solutions, and government incentives.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Customer-focused with the ability to build rapport and trust.
Target-oriented, self-motivated, and passionate about electric mobility.
Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office.
Valid 4-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
