About the role


The Advance Testing Section Head will be leading the section taking care to validate EEE/EV/HEV components, subsystems and vehicle systems designed and developed to equip the 2W/3W/4W vehicles under development at TVS Motor Company, main responsibilities are:
1. Support the design and development of EEE/EV/HEV components/subsystem and vehicle systems for EE and HEV through testing and Data Analysis
2. Performance optimization through testing and validation, participation to functional design and control development analysing data and participating to problem solving.
3. Through Continuous interaction with Hardware /Software /Integration /testing Sourcing teams ensure the adherence of the EEE/EV/HEV system to the company standards and the development of this standards.
4. Participate to the successful development meeting target Quality in desired Cost and committed Time.
5. Develop advanced technology testing system using HIL (Dspace, Vector, Opal,-rt, ETAS, NI), modelling and virtual theories.

Functional Competencies:



Demonstrated progressive competence in EEE/EV/HEV powertrain component and subsystem design/development and direct experience with automotive electric drive, power electronics, battery pack systems, regulatory and testing. Hands on, rigouros, creative/innovative mind set with experience in advanced automotive system development using advanced engineering and R&D methodologies. Ability to deal effectively with and lead within a fast-paced, dynamic and change-oriented environment. Deep knowledge and expertise in EEE/EV/HEV subsystem quality process. Direct experience on EEE value chain Excellent leadership skills with experience in building and leading engineering and business teams that may be in multiple locations (International experience preferred) Management of logistically distributed projects and team Record of accomplishment of successful vehicle program development experience, including verification, and launch of EV and hybrid systems. Project management experience Hands on experience in simulation, preferably mathworks toolchain and/or Scilab, Amesim, Ansys, Opera, Altair, Jmag Expertise in Mechatronic/Electric/Electronic component testing Knowledge on requirement management tools (like Doors Reqtify, Codebeamer etc. ) and development toolchains. Ability to work through RCA (why why, 8D, Ishikawa etc) Experience in V-model development process. Knowledge of testing standards ISO (ISO14229 - ISO26262 etc.) Strategic orientation Innovative thinking Develop people Leveraging technologies Knowledge of basic different electrical measurement tools and test process as well awareness about EV / HV safety standards (Canapes, CANalyzer, Canoe etc)
