Job Description

A European Education Counsellor advises students on higher education opportunities across Europe. The role involves guiding students through university selection, admissions, scholarships, and visa processes while ensuring compliance with country-specific education and immigration regulations.

Student Counselling & Guidance

Counsel students on

European universities and programs

(UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, Spain, etc.)

Assess students'

academic background, career goals, and financial capacity

Recommend suitable

courses, universities, and countries

Admissions & Applications

Assist with

university applications

, including SOPs, CVs, and LORs

Track application timelines and ensure deadlines are met

Liaise with universities and admissions offices

Exams & Eligibility

Guide students on

IELTS/TOEFL

, GMAT/GRE (if required)

Verify eligibility criteria and documentation requirements

Scholarships & Funding

Advise on

European scholarships

(Erasmus+, DAAD, Chevening, Eiffel, etc.)

Support scholarship applications and financial planning

Visa & Compliance

Provide guidance on

student visa requirements

for different European countries

Ensure documentation meets embassy and immigration standards

Prepare students for visa interviews (where applicable)

Client Relationship Management

Maintain accurate student records and follow-ups

Build long-term relationships with students and parents

Address student queries professionally and ethically

Institutional & Partner Coordination

Maintain relationships with

European universities and partner institutions

Attend training sessions, webinars, and education fairs

Stay updated on changes in education policies and visa regulations

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree

Skills

Strong knowledge of

European education systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and organizational ability

Student-focused counselling approach

Familiarity with CRM systems (preferred)

Experience

1-5 years of experience in

international education counselling

Experience handling European study destinations preferred
