Role Overview
We are seeking a
University Research & Application Specialist (Europe)
who will take complete ownership of the student admissions process. The candidate should be skilled at
analyzing student profiles, researching the right universities, matching requirements, and managing applications end-to-end
.
The focus will be on Public universities, Non Partnered Universities present in countries such as Germany, Spain, France Latvia, Estonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Belgium, Hungary, etc.
This role requires someone who is
detail-oriented, research-driven, and process-focused
with a strong passion for helping students secure admissions successfully.
Key Responsibilities
1. Student Profile Assessment
Evaluate student profiles (academics, language skills, financials, career goals).
Match profiles with the right universities/programs to
maximize chances of admission
.
Identify and flag profile gaps (e.g., missing language proficiency, weak SOP, low GPA).
2. University & Program Research
Maintain an up-to-date database of
European public universities
(programs, fees, intakes, deadlines, eligibility).
Focus strongly on
Germany
+ economical destinations like Spain, Latvia, Estonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Belgium, Hungary. etc
Track changes in admission policies, PSW opportunities, and visa regulations.
3. Application Management
Create shortlists of universities tailored to each student for both Bachelors, Masters and PhD.
Prepare and review
application documents
(SOP, CV, LORs, transcripts, financials).
Submit applications via university portals, monitor progress, and handle follow-ups.
Ensure
error-free, timely submissions
to increase admission success rates.
4. Admission Preparation Support
Guide students in preparing for admission interviews/tests.
Conduct mock interview sessions, share expected questions, and provide feedback.
Train students to communicate their academic/professional background confidently.
5. Process Development & Knowledge Building
Build SOPs, templates, and country guides for repeatable processes.
Standardize research and application steps to improve efficiency.
Support both B2C counselling and potential B2B backend agency work.
Requirements
Experience
: Minimum 1-2 years in with exposure to
European universities
.
Expertise
: Strong understanding of Germany's public universities and other EU low-cost destinations.
Skills
:
Strong research and analytical skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Familiarity with application portals, CRM, Excel, and online databases.
