Our SAP Practice offers a complete range of services - from business case development and system design to configuration, testing and deployment .SAP offerings include - SAP ECC, CRM, SRM, ICH, Portal, Net weaver, BO, SAP Development and BASIS & Infrastructure and covers all functional areas and industry verticals.

Work you\'ll do

The primary role of a Consultant is to make immediate, direct contributions to enhancing our clients\' competitive position and performance in ways that are distinctive, innovative, and sustainable. To do this, one must perform the following activities as a Manager within the firm:

As an Architect/ Technical manager for SAP Opentext (OT) VIM, you should be a technical expert in Opentext VIM, ABAP and knowledgeable in business processes of Procure to Pay, Order to Cash and other SAP functional modules. It will provide an challenging opportunity for the person to design, architect the SAP/OT product VIM to suit our customer needs. You should act as a mentor and act as an SME for VIM. This role gives opportunity to gradually learn other P2P products such as Ariba, Coupa etc. You should be willing to travel within India and globally.

Primary roles and responsibilities of this role:

Project Management

  • Demonstrated ability to develop project plans for large implementation projects, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver successfully to plan
  • Define, develop, and actively manage implementation schedules and project scope
  • Manage project scope and utilize appropriate change control mechanisms, from inception to closure
  • Prepare team for project kickoff, develop a collaborative culture, and provide coaching to optimize performance
  • Track and report project progress, in an objective and consistent manner
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and issues, leveraging escalation processes as appropriate
  • Identify key internal and external project stakeholders, clarify roles/responsibilities, and employ communication strategies, to ensure stakeholder support and satisfaction
  • Familiarity with organization change management methods (e. g., process definition, communications, training)
  • Should be able to drive the cutover strategy, cutover & go-live plan
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, internally and externally
Technical Knowledge:
  • Experienced VIM professionals with at least 9+ years of relevant experience
  • Should have worked on at least 4 end-to-end full-fledged VIM implementations. Support experience is not preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in solution design, architecture and delivery of VIM solutions with onsite and offshore focus.
  • Understand the complex requirements of customer, analyze options, and build a foolproof architecture & design
  • Conduct requirement gathering workshops, identify the fit to standard and identify the gaps, provide solutions
  • Work alongside with cross functional teams to contribute and deliver the projects both in collaboration as well as Individually
  • Configure /customize the VIM application based on the customer needs
  • Hands on experience software configuration and programming, e.g., ABAP Programming, Data Dictionary, Development RICEF objects other related SAP functional knowledge in P2P.
  • Should be good in preparing SoWs, provide accurate estimates, Build PoCs as needed for the customer context
  • Should have experience of SAP VIM Fiori apps- Standard and custom.
  • Suggest appropriate versions of the OT tools as per the SAP landscape, should handle the upgrades as well.
  • Test the solution and troubleshoot any issues and resolve on time
  • Able to lead a small technical team, mentor and guide for deliverables
  • Working knowledge of systems integration practices including configuration, customization, and integration
  • Strong understanding of the cloud software development lifecycle including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies
  • Basic understanding of in installation and set-up of VIM components such as archive server and database, IES/ BCC is an added advantage.
  • Functional knowledge of SAP MM, FICO, SAP S/4 Hana and OOPS is additional advantage
Quality Management:
  • Ensure project consultants are delivering to configuration, development, and methodology standards
  • Clearly articulate delivery process and deliverable expectations
  • Incorporate an appropriate level of quality audits and testing, into every project phase
  • Regularly review consultant work, provide improvement feedback, and drive accountability, to deliver committed work on time and as specified
  • Conduct \'lessons learned\' reviews and provide feedback, to improve future performance
