Operate and monitor ETP/STP systems, pumps, blowers, and other equipment.
Check inlet and outlet water quality, pH levels, TDS, COD, BOD, etc.
Perform chemical dosing, sludge removal, and backwashing as required.
Maintain daily logs of plant operations, readings, and chemical usage.
Perform routine maintenance and report any breakdowns to the supervisor.
Ensure compliance with pollution control norms and safety guidelines.
Keep the treatment area clean and well-maintained.
Assist in audits and inspections conducted by statutory bodies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant field.
Knowledge of ETP processes: primary, secondary, tertiary treatment.
Ability to test water samples and read instruments.
Basic understanding of safety protocols.
Experience in handling pumps, valves, and chemical dosing systems.
