Skill: ETL Testing

Experience: 6 to 9 Years

Location : AIA - Bangalore

An ETL Tester is responsible for validating data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity in data warehousing.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand data requirements and business rules for ETL processes.

Test Planning: Develop detailed test plans and scenarios to ensure comprehensive testing of ETL processes.

Test Case Development: Create and execute test cases, including positive, negative, boundary, and edge cases to validate ETL processes

Data Validation: Ensure that data is accurately extracted from source systems, transformed according to business rules, and loaded into target systems.

Issue Identification: Identify and document data quality issues, discrepancies, and defects in the ETL processes.

Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance ETL performance.

Automation: Implement automated testing processes to improve efficiency and coverage of ETL testing.
