Profile - ETL Tester

Location - Gurgaon (WFO)

Exp- 4-5 yrs

Notice period - immediate

Location - Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases for validating data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

Perform data validation and reconciliation between source, staging, and target systems using complex SQL queries.

Conduct API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or JMeter, including functional, performance, and security aspects.

Work on Linux/Unix environments for executing shell scripts, monitoring jobs, and validating logs.

Perform end-to-end testing of ETL workflows, including data pipelines, scheduling, and monitoring tools.

Identify, log, and track defects in tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps / HP ALM, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.

Create and maintain test plans, test data, and test reports aligned with project requirements.

Work closely with business analysts, developers, and data engineers to ensure high-quality data delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:

4-5 years of experience in ETL / Data Warehouse Testing.

Strong expertise in SQL (Joins, Aggregations, Window Functions) for validating data at large scale.

Good hands-on experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or similar).

Strong experience with Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting for job monitoring and debugging.

Hands-on experience in API Testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman, SoapUI, or JMeter.

Familiarity with ETL job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, Airflow, etc.).

Knowledge of QA methodologies, STLC, and defect management processes.

Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Data Factory, or GCP BigQuery) is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
