Purpose Statement
Boston Scientific is looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to support Global Supply Chain Planning in Run state/ Project work.
Key Responsibilities
ETL & Data Operations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise-wide data initiatives.
• Manage non-SAP data ingestion processes using VBA, Macros, and .VBS scripts.
• Ensure seamless data flow from UDP systems to Snowflake for downstream analytics.
• Support PVM feeds for Finance, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery for reporting and analysis.
• Leverage tools such as Altrax to support data operations, automation, and analytics initiatives.

Automation & Scripting

• Develop and maintain VBA scripts to automate Excel-based workflows.
• Use SQL within Excel to perform dynamic data querying, transformation, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and automate manual data processing tasks.

Kinaxis System Administration

• Perform system upgrades and Copy Back operations to maintain platform stability and performance.
• Configure and manage data exports from Kinaxis to external environments such as Snowflake and Amazon S3.
• Author, configure, and maintain alerts within Kinaxis to monitor system performance and data health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of ETL processes, SQL, and data integration.
• Proficiency in VBA scripting, Excel Macros, and .VBS scripting.
• Experience with Snowflake and Amazon S3 environments.
• Familiarity with data pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Altrax or equivalent).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Soft Skills

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills including oral, written, and listening skills with a track record of communicating complex concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff, including at senior executive levels
• A positive attitude, innovative and creative thinker.
• Responsible risk taking and risk management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Kinaxis: Additional certifications are a plus
• Cloud certifications: Snowflake, AWS, Azure Data Engineer Associate
• Other: Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and integrations (e.g., APIs).
