Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled

ETL + QA Automation Tester

to join our Quality Assurance team. The role involves testing

ETL processes, databases, and functional aspects

of Banking & Financial software products. The ideal candidate should possess strong SQL expertise, ETL testing experience, and exposure to automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Perform ETL, database, and functional testing for software products. Write, execute, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and validation scripts. Validate source-to-target mapping documents and migrated data records. Perform portal-based functional testing where required. Collaborate with Business Analysts to validate and contribute to mapping documents. Execute test cases, report and track defects using Jira / Quality Center or similar tools. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure high-quality deliverables. Support automation testing activities using

Selenium with Java

(basic to intermediate level). Perform API testing (Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI - good to have). Contribute to performance testing using JMeter / SSIS (advantageous but not mandatory).

Required Technical Skills

4+ years of experience in ETL/Database testing

(MS-SQL mandatory). Strong SQL query writing with joins, T-SQL, and data validation techniques. Experience in automation testing with

Selenium + Java

(basic to intermediate level). Proficiency in defect tracking & test management tools (Jira, QC, etc.). Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodology. Ability to independently validate source-to-target data mapping.

Good to Have Skills

Experience with

JMeter, SSIS

or similar tools. API testing exposure (Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI). Programming knowledge in

Java / C#

. Understanding of QA best practices and standards.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
