Zycus is looking for a ETL Developer who is responsible for managing and maintaining data warehousing processes, ensuring data integration, and supporting data transformation requirements. The role involves developing, testing, and deploying ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for efficient data flow across systems, aligning data structures to organizational requirements, and maintaining data quality and integrity. ETL Developers work closely with data analysts, data engineers, and database administrators to build robust ETL frameworks and deliver timely, accurate data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL):

Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to support data extraction, transformation, and loading across various data sources.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency during the ETL process.

Data Modeling and Warehousing:

Create and maintain data models to support warehousing and reporting requirements.
Develop and optimize database schemas and maintain data dictionaries.

Data Integration and Performance Optimization:

Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, flat files, APIs, and external platforms.
Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability, minimizing latency and maximizing throughput.

Data Quality Assurance:

Implement data quality checks and validation mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality issues in ETL pipelines.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement ETL solutions accordingly.
Support data reporting and analytics needs through reliable data flow.

Documentation and Maintenance:

Document ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows.
Maintain and update ETL scripts, jobs, and processes to meet evolving business needs.

Job Requirement

Skills And Experience Required :

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience:

Proven experience in ETL development, data warehousing, or data engineering roles. Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting) is a plus. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data integration techniques. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is beneficial.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. Effective communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
